Position: Maintenance Worker

Company/Location: Kentucky River Community Care/Townview, Jackson, KY

Employment type : Regular Full-Time

Credentials: High school diploma or GED.

Primary functions:

• Preventative maintenance including but not limited to apartment interior inspections and grounds inspections to ensure there are no maintenance problems and that all plumbing, electrical, and appliances are functioning properly.  Changing HVAC filters.  Replacing light bulbs or appliance bulbs and checking for any water leaks.
• Electrical - basic electrical repairs including resetting breakers, replacing light switches or installing light fixtures.  Replacing GFCI.
• Plumbing - basic plumbing duties including toilet repairs, replacing wax rings, unclogging or snaking drains, removing or replacing damaged pipes and replacing faucets.
• Carpentry including installing cabinets and countertops and drywall repair work.
• Painting - interior and exterior painting.
• Flooring - installing vinyl plank flooring or linoleum.
• Cleaning vacant apartments.
• Cleaning/grounds upkeep - including but not limited to landscaping, lawn  work or picking up trash on the grounds.

Shift/Days and Work Hours : Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
