Job Description

Secondary Business Teacher – La Vista Middle School

2026-27 School Year

Job Description: The primary focus of this position is to teach students introduction computer sciences and typing skills. The classes are usually designed so that students will immediately use the skills after graduation or may further develop them in a post-secondary training program.

Additionally, you will remain current in your field through ongoing professional growth and collaboration, communicate regularly with parents and staff, and contribute to building- and district-level meetings. Dependable attendance, supervisory responsibilities, and other assigned duties are also key components of this position.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education
  • Certification: Holds or is eligible for a Nebraska Teacher’s Certificate
  • Experience: Successful completion of student teaching
