Commercial Furniture Installer

Our client, a locally owned full-service furniture management company, is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join their growing team. Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Furniture Installer to support the successful execution of commercial installation projects. In this role, you will handle the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, assemble and install furniture on-site according to provided plans, and ensure the workspace is clean, safe, and prepared at all stages of the project. While not required, experience with carpentry or using hand and power tools is highly beneficial.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM (regular overtime available)

  • Compensation: $22/hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload furniture and materials from delivery trucks

  • Install furniture according to blueprints, job tickets, or designer specifications

  • Mount cabinetry, bookshelves, and other fixtures as needed

  • Prepare job sites before installation and ensure thorough cleanup afterward

  • Assemble furniture with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Experience using basic hand tools; mechanical aptitude required

  • Ability to follow directions and work efficiently as part of a team

  • Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and maneuver large items

  • Previous carpentry or installation experience is a plus
