As an equal opportunity employer, we celebrate diversity and are committed to an inclusive environment for all employees and patients.# ***Day in the Life of a Medical Director**** Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in our outpatient clinic settings* Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment* Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards* Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services* Provide injections if needed* APP collaboration# ***Schedule & Locations**** We are growing and looking for additional coverage for our providers and centers.* Primary center: Danville OTP* Target weekly hours: (2 days) 12 hours weekly* 10 hours patient facing hours weekly plus 2 hours for log in/admin* We are growing and looking for additional coverage for our providers and centers. Additional hours available in another center if wanted.* Please speak with your recruiter about your availability.# ***Education and Licensure Requirements**** Active and clear licensure to practice medicine in the state(s) in which patient care will be provided.* DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice* **The medical director must be a board-certified addictionologist or successfully completed or will complete within one year a course of study in opiate addiction that is approved by the department.*** "Addiction-credentialed physician" means a physician who holds a board certification in addiction medicine from the American Board of Addiction Medicine, a subspecialty board certification in addition to certification in psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, or subspecialty board certification in addiction medicine from the American Osteopathic Association.* DMAS also recognizes physicians with the DATA 2000 buprenorphine waiver and physicians treating addiction who have specialty training or experience in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry.* Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice# ***Position Benefits**** W-2 employment with competitive pay starting at $200./hour but will vary based on experience and credentials.* Malpractice insurance paid by Crossroads.* *Calm* subscription for all employees #J-18808-Ljbffr
