Property Tax Accountant
Compensation: $75,000–$90,000
Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k)

LaSalle Network is hiring a Property Tax Accountant to join a growing organization headquartered in Greenwood Village. The ideal Property Tax Accountant is analytical, confident navigating multijurisdictional filings, and ready to take ownership of real and personal property tax compliance from end to end. What’s the job?
  • Prepare and file all real and personal property tax returns, extensions, and payments across multiple jurisdictions
  • Gather, analyze, and reconcile asset data and financial information needed for accurate property tax reporting
  • Monitor assessments, identify opportunities for appeals, and coordinate the full appeal process with external consultants
  • Review valuation methodologies and appraisal data to support favorable tax outcomes
  • Build annual property tax budgets and forecasts, incorporating projected rates and valuations
  • Track actual expenses vs. budget and deliver variance analysis
  • Coordinate property tax audits and maintain complete, organized records
  • Produce ad-hoc analysis to support strategic business decisions
  • Utilize and maintain software tools such as PTMS or OneSource to streamline compliance and reporting activities
What’s needed?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of property tax accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of real and personal property tax compliance across jurisdictions
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
  • Experience with property tax systems preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • CPA or relevant designation is a plus
